Based at Tioman Island Juara Village, where provide accomodation and workshops for volunteers or participants to take part in the process to learn and help with around when the season for Turtles laying eggs. This would be a very busy season ever for participants and volunteers to stay on the Island to lend their hands to help out.
By sharing the experience and moments for such short period during the laying and hatching eggs by the Turtles, would be able to give some cheers to participants and volunteers.
Campaigns on banning eating of Turtle eggs by the locals are the main target and objectives of having this such project opens to the local Malaysians and students as well. I am worried of the future for these Turtles around the East Coast Malaysia which by now hardly seen any Leather back Turtles found swimming around compared to those years back.
Something need to be done. With more awareness & conservation programs coming up and more efforts by the people around, I believe there more progress for the life of these Turtles. My worries for the Turtles are rising and never stopped to help the Turtles.
